Vo Minh Triet (student of Chu Van An Secondary School) is one of the candidates who completed the Literature exam this morning (Exam for admission to grade 10 high school in the 2025 - 2026 school year) at Chau Van Liem High School exam site. Sharing with us, Triet said that this year's exam is highly social, focusing on the affection between mother and child, so there are many emotions and ideas for the exam.
"Being close to my mother and lucky to receive love and sharing from my family, I did my homework very well. I feel that this year's exam is very good, thinking that many students are like me, easily getting 8 points" - Triet said.
The male student also added that he was not pressured to score because he had basically "successed himself" in this exam. However, Triet predicted that he could pass the high school entrance exam as he wished, continue his journey of knowledge and pursue his dream.
Also leaving the exam room with a relaxed mentality, Nguyen Doan Tuong Lam (student of Luong The Vinh Secondary School) said that he was able to get 8.5 points. Lam wrote quite well in parts, analyzed deeply and had personal connections.
"After finishing, I felt like I had lost all the burden of studying and reviewing for so many days. This afternoon, I will rest, then have fun with friends and ' relevant' myself. I also plan to focus on self-development to prepare for the upcoming high school entrance exam" - Lam added.
Regarding the structure of the Literature exam, Ms. Pham Thi My Ly - a language teacher at Chau Van Liem High School (Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City) - assessed that the exam closely follows the new 2018 general education program, but still ensures the classification of students.
The topic suggests for children with a theme close to reality. In addition to the book theory, poetry comprehension, grammar analysis, etc., the questions also require students to present their understanding of the mother's affection for her children through the poem "In glory, children must bow their heads".
Ms. Ly added that for those who are proactive and independent in studying and living, there will be a way to understand and write based on their own experiences. Those who are too much protected by their parents will have less experience and of course their writing style will be more limited.
According to the report of the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City on the situation of candidates taking the Literature exam, the rate of candidates taking the exam is 10,996/11,057 (99.45%).
Security and safety in and around the Examination Councils are guaranteed. There was no traffic congestion on the routes with the Examination Councils.
