Proactively in the face of fluctuations
As a senior student, Le Dinh Duong - a student at Nguyen Binh Khiem High School for the Gifted (Da Nang) - said that the fact that some universities have stopped considering admission based on transcripts has forced him and his friends to quickly adjust their study strategies, review and admission orientations.
Duong planned to submit his high school transcripts to reduce the pressure of taking the exam, but now the male student is forced to develop many more backup options to avoid being passive.
I decided to focus more on the high school graduation exam. In addition, I have also begun to carefully research the requirements of each school regarding competency assessment scores, combined admission criteria and conditions for considering international language certificates - Duong said.
According to the male student, the most difficult thing for students today is to race against information, each school has its own admission method and criteria. Therefore, he spent time re-systeming the major goals, the level of competition of each school, the exam preparation roadmap, and discussing with teachers and family to choose a plan that suits his abilities and economic conditions.
Under the pressure of taking the exam, each candidate builds their own review plan. In addition to the main study time in class, many students choose to study extra classes to supplement the lacking knowledge, while taking time to self-study to systematize the content and practice the skills to do the test.
Sharing about how to review, Nguyen Gia Phu - a student at Thai Thuan High School (Bac Ninh) - said that he spends about 2 hours a day reviewing. In addition to studying at school and extra classes, Phu combines self-study and group study with friends to exchange difficult knowledge, drawing experience from common mistakes.
During the final stage, developing a clear study plan is considered an important factor to help students not be overloaded. The male student also identified many different directions and admission methods to avoid being passive in the face of fluctuations in admission from schools.

Advice for students
On the exam preparation stage, pressure and difficulties are inevitable. Accompanying 12th graders is not only a family, but also a support and encouragement for teachers. Sharing with his students, Mr. Than Van Cuong - Math teacher, Ngo Si Lien High School (Bac Ninh) advised them to consider the upcoming exam as a challenge to conquer, instead of a "burden".
According to Mr. Cuong, reviewing for the high school graduation exam requires perseverance and science, especially when students have to review many subjects at the same time with a large amount of knowledge. Each student needs to develop a suitable study plan, avoid concentrated learning that can easily lead to overload and reduce learning efficiency.
The male teacher noted that students should not review heavy subjects in thinking such as Math, Physics, Chemistry in the same session, but should interspers with subjects such as Literature, Geography or Foreign Language to create balance.
Emphasizing that reviewing for exams is a long process, Mr. Cuong advised students not to "huge" their knowledge but to study regularly, combined with reasonable rest according to the motto "long-term rain". Reviewing with a clear plan not only helps save time and be proactive in studying but also better orients your goals.
Giving advice to grade 12 students, Mr. Hoang Van Thao - Head of the Department of Secondary Education, Department of Education and Training of Lang Son province - said that candidates need to stay calm, clearly identify key subjects to choose a major that suits their abilities and strengths. This can be based on analysis and forecasting future trends.
In addition, students can exploit AI applications to support information analysis and assessment, thereby making reasonable choices for learning and career orientation.
