However, when completing the procedures for receiving the graduation certificate, the school announced that she would not be granted a certificate because it took more than 8 years to complete the study program, she was only granted a certificate of completion of the study program.
Through investigation, Ms. Ha did not see any documents from the Ministry of Education and Training stipulating that diplomas should not be issued to students studying for more than 8 years. Ms. Ha asked, is her case eligible for a university diploma?
Regarding this issue, the Ministry of Education and Training answers as follows:
The Regulations on university-level training issued by the Ministry of Education and Training all stipulate maximum study time, minimum study time; the maximum time for articulation students to complete the course is determined based on the time according to the full-course standard study plan reduced corresponding to the exempted volume (if any).
According to the relevant regulations in the University-level Training Regulations issued by the Minister of Education and Training, the Principal of the training institution considers, recognizes graduation and issues diplomas to students.
