Can Tho Department of Education and Training has just reported the results of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam for students studying under the 2018 General Education Program (CTGDPT).
According to the report, in Can Tho City (after merging old administrative units from Can Tho City, Hau Giang Province, Soc Trang Province), the 2025 High School Graduation Exam was held safely, seriously, in accordance with regulations and achieved many positive results.
The total number of candidates registered to take the 2025 high school graduation exam in Can Tho City is 32,676 candidates, of which, in the old Hau Giang, there were 7,426 candidates, in the old Can Tho City, there were 13,776 candidates, in the old Soc Trang, there were 11,474 candidates.
According to the announcement of the Ministry of Education and Training on July 15, Literature is a big bright spot in the city. With an average score of 7.259, Can Tho ranked 5th out of 34 provinces and cities with the highest Literature exam scores in the country.
Can Tho City is also in the top 10 provinces and cities with the most 10 points, in subjects such as IT (ranked 2nd nationwide, with 7 candidates achieving absolute scores), Technology - Agriculture (ranked 6th, with 5 candidates achieving 10 points), Biology (ranked 10th, with 2 candidates achieving 10 points).
According to the assessment, the results of this year's exam reflect the clear change in the quality of teaching elective subjects and enhancing the orientation of practical application according to the requirements of CTGDPT 2018.
