Regarding the incident of student P.T.T.P, Thang Long Secondary School (Nam An Phu commune, Hai Phong city) being beaten by a group of classmates, on January 14, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuy - Chairman of Nam An Phu Commune People's Committee - said that the locality promptly directed functional units to work with the families of the students involved, and at the same time apply deterrent and educational measures to prevent similar incidents from happening.
According to initial information, at about 10:30 am on December 31, 2025, after the class ended, in class 7B, a conflict occurred between students D.T.M and P.T.T.P (both residing in Nam An Phu commune) when talking. After that, D.T.M used her hand to beat P.T.T.P. Seeing this, 5 other students participated in beating P. Two classmates, L.T.H and N.H.M, used personal phones to record the incident and share it in a small group.
In the following days, the family discovered that P.T.T.P showed signs of bruises in the head and chest area. Her mother shared the video with the parent group and notified the homeroom teacher of the incident.
The school has invited relevant students and parents to work to clarify the content, and at the same time requested parents to coordinate to overcome the consequences and strengthen education for their children. P.'s family was asked to take him to the hospital for examination and treatment.
The Disciplinary Council of Thang Long Secondary School unanimously agreed on the form of criticism for 6 students involved in the incident; requested self-criticism, parents signed a commitment to coordinate education and work with P.T.T.P's family to overcome the consequences.
Nam An Phu Commune Police invited students who directly beat their friends to work to propagate and educate. The Commune People's Committee continues to direct the school to coordinate with families in managing and educating students; and at the same time advises people not to share or disseminate images or videos related to children without permission.
According to the leader of Nam An Phu Commune People's Committee, P.T.T.P's health is currently basically stable.
