Admission aspiration registration tactics
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates can adjust and supplement their aspirations until 5 pm on July 14. During this time, they can adjust and change the registration order but not more than 15 aspirations.
Dr. Vu Van Ngoc, Director of the Institute of Advanced Education, High Quality and POHE, National Economics University, advises candidates to compare with the benchmark scores of previous years to determine the possibility of being admitted to the major or program they love.

On that basis, candidates should divide their aspirations into three groups.
The first group are the most favorite industries and should be placed in the priority position.
The second group includes majors with benchmark scores in previous years equivalent to their current scores, which can arrange about 5-7 aspirations.
The last group are majors with significantly lower benchmark scores than their own scores to create a safe zone, limiting risks if benchmark scores fluctuate.
Students should not give up their registration aspirations because of concerns about benchmark scores" - Mr. Ngoc said.
Studying international training programs is a great opportunity but requirements are also high
In recent years, joint university training programs with foreign countries have become a trend of choice for many learners. These programs open up opportunities for students with international degrees at lower costs than studying abroad.
However, according to Dr. Vu Van Ngoc, before deciding to choose these programs, candidates need to consider carefully.
First, he advises candidates to assess their foreign language proficiency. If they have a good English background and are oriented to work in an international environment, Advanced or High Quality programs will be a suitable choice.
In addition, students need to carefully study the output standards, especially the foreign language requirements. For example, the Advanced Program of the National Economics University requires an English standard equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or higher.
In addition, tuition fees for these programs are often higher than the standard program due to more investment in the program and training quality. However, students with good academic results still have the opportunity to receive scholarships with high value" - Dr. Vu Van Ngoc said.
Regarding the benchmark scores for the programs of the Institute of Advanced Education, High Quality and POHE this year, Mr. Ngoc predicts that there will not be much fluctuation compared to last year. The benchmark score level may range from 24.5-27.5 points.
Candidates should refer to the benchmark scores of 2024 and 2025 to build a suitable aspiration registration strategy" - Mr. Ngoc said.
