At the Conference, the representative of the Department of Organization and Personnel (Ministry of Health) announced the Decision No. 1710/QD-BYT of May 21, 2025 of the Ministry of Health on recognizing Mr. Pham Van Linh-Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector of Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy as Chairman of Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy, term 2020-2025.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Nguyen Tri Thuc emphasized: Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy, with more than 45 years of establishment and development, has become one of the prestigious medical human resource training centers in the North and across the country. Over the past years, the school has achieved many outstanding achievements. The Ministry of Health's promulgation of the decision to recognize the Chairman of the School Council shows the trust of the Ministry of Health as well as the collective of Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy for Mr. Pham Van Linh. This is a great honor, and also a challenging task in the context of the country is moving dramatically in all areas, especially in education and health.
According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Tri Thuc, Chairman of the School Council plays a very important role in leading, strategic orientation and supervising the school's activities. Therefore, the Deputy Minister suggested that Mr. Pham Van Linh continue to promote the role of united nucleus, maintain the comprehensive leadership role of the Party in the school; Closely coordinate with the Principal and members of the leadership collective, the school council to develop a long -term development strategy, suitable to the new context, towards the goal of developing Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy to become a prestigious health industry training institution in the region.
