At the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Bach Viet - Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel (Ministry of Education and Training) - announced the Prime Minister's Decision on the establishment of the Finance Academy branch in Hung Yen province on the basis of the University of Finance - Business Administration and the Decision of the Minister of Education and Training allowing the training activities of the Finance Academy Branch in Hung Yen province.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Finance Cao Anh Tuan affirmed that the establishment of the Finance Academy Branch in Hung Yen is a correct policy, of strategic significance, in line with the orientations of the Party, Government and Ministry of Finance on arranging and improving the operational efficiency of higher education institutions.
According to the Deputy Minister, this is not only an important milestone for the Academy of Finance but also meaningful for the Finance sector and Hung Yen province. The new branch inherits the 60-year tradition of the University of Finance - Business Administration, a unit that has trained nearly 80,000 officials, students, and students for the Finance sector.

The establishment of the Branch will contribute to improving the quality of training, meeting the needs of high-quality human resources to serve socio-economic development of the region and the whole country.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dao Tung - Director of the Academy of Finance - said that the establishment of the Branch is not simply an organizational arrangement but a convergence of two traditions, creating new impetus for development.
The Academy is committed to comprehensively inheriting the values of the University of Finance - Business Administration, while promoting digital transformation, innovation, and ensuring unified training quality between the main campus and the Branch.
According to the development orientation, by 2030, the Branch of the Academy of Finance in Hung Yen strives to become a center for training high-quality human resources in the fields of finance, accounting, auditing, corporate governance, digital finance and data science in the region.
