Ton Duc Thang University Branch in Khanh Hoa has just coordinated with the Provincial Department of Education and Training to organize a thematic workshop "School Physical Education and Sports".
With the theme of applying digital technology and modern teaching methods to promote comprehensive education, the conference attracted nearly 200 experts, scientists, and lecturers from all over the country to attend and submit papers.
Delegates emphasized the increasingly important role of digital transformation in physical education. This is not only a trend but also an inevitable requirement to improve training quality and meet diverse learning needs.

The conference content focuses on four main areas: School sports; sports training; sports biomedicine and sports psychology.
Many presentations shared new research results, practical experiences and proposed solutions to innovate management and teaching in the context of digital transformation.
According to scientific reports, traditional teaching methods with lecturers as the center of attention reveal many limitations such as lack of interaction, difficulty in personalization and lack of effective technology utilization.
Meanwhile, the development of online learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS), data analysis tools and mobile applications are opening up strong innovation opportunities for physical education.

International research data shows that investment in education technology (EdTech) globally increased from about 4.5 billion USD in 2015 to nearly 30 billion USD in 2023, reflecting the increasingly clear trend of technology integration in teaching and learning.
However, the digital transformation process still faces many challenges such as limitations in technology infrastructure, uneven digital capacity of lecturers and digital gaps between student groups.
In addition, the assessment of motor skills in an online environment still faces difficulties due to the specificity associated with practice.
The organizers said that 47 post-criticism research works will be published in the conference yearbook in the form of an electronic book with ISBN code.
Within the framework of the program, the Faculty of Sports Science (Ton Duc Thang University) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Ho Chi Minh City Sports Training and Competition Center to strengthen training, scientific research and create internship opportunities for students.
