On the morning of March 23, Vietnam Television (VTV) confirmed that Tao Quan will return through a report broadcast in the Morning Coffee program.
This comeback takes place on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the first broadcast of VTV3 channel (March 31, 1996 – March 31, 2026), within the framework of the program "Dating with March".
Tao Quan 2026 "off-season" version was broadcast on March 29, bringing together a cast of familiar artists such as People's Artist Quoc Khanh, People's Artist Tu Long, Meritorious Artist Chi Trung, Meritorious Artist Quang Thang, Artist Van Dung, Artist Trung Ruoi... actively practicing.
Sharing with Lao Dong reporters, Meritorious Artist Chi Trung revealed a photo taken with People's Artist Quoc Khanh and the Tao Quan cast that was just taken on the evening of March 21. The artists are actively practicing for this comeback.

According to the sharing of "Tao Giao Thong", the skit Tao Quan still retains the familiar performance style of Tao Quan as in previous years, but will be adjusted and slightly refreshed to suit the joyful atmosphere of the VTV3 anniversary program.
People's Artist Xuan Bac and People's Artist Cong Ly will not participate in this skit.
Immediately after the information about Tao Quan's return was announced, many viewers expressed excitement as the familiar "spiritual dish" continued to air. Many opinions shared feelings that the Tet atmosphere had returned, while emphasizing the attraction of veteran artists such as NSND Quoc Khanh, NSND Tu Long, NSUT Quang Thang, NS Van Dung - those who are said to create the "unique quality" of Tao Quan.
So it's only the 23rd of Tet now, the past month has just been an illusion," a viewer commented.
Live long enough to celebrate 2 Tet in 1 year," another person wrote.
More than a month earlier, near the Lunar New Year 2026, VTV announced that it would stop broadcasting Tao Quan and replace it with a new program called "Spring Square".
However, this program aired in the time frame before New Year's Eve but did not receive positive feedback, when it was criticized for the lack of highlights and dense advertising.
