On July 7, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) announced the results of the survey to assess the enrollment capacity of grade 6 of Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School for the 2026-2027 school year.
Parents and students can look up the results at: https://tuyensinhdaucap. hcm. edu. vn/. The username is the student's identification code, the password is the student's date of birth.
This year, the survey took place on July 1 with more than 4,200 students registering for the survey. The school enrolls 350 6th grade students for the 2026-2027 school year.
According to the plan of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, from July 8th to no later than 4:30 PM on July 14th, admitted students must complete their enrollment documents. Those who do not submit documents on time will be removed from the list of admitted students.
For students who need to re-examine the survey, parents submit applications from July 9th to no later than 4:30 PM on July 11th. The re-examination results are expected to be announced on July 15th.
The entrance exam for grade 6 of Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School consists of two parts. The multiple-choice part has 20 questions, the exam time is 30 minutes. The essay part lasts 60 minutes, assessing English proficiency (hearing and understanding, reading and understanding, writing in English), mathematics and logical thinking proficiency, along with reading comprehension and writing in Vietnamese.
In addition to Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School, in the 2026-2027 school year, Ho Chi Minh City also has 4 secondary schools implementing first-grade enrollment using surveys, including Hoa Lu Secondary School (Tang Nhon Phu ward), Binh Tho Secondary School (Thu Duc ward), Tran Quoc Toan Secondary School (Binh Trung ward) and Nguyen An Ninh Secondary School (Tam Thang ward).
These schools also announced the results of the 6th grade enrollment survey on July 7.
