On April 18, Duy Tan University opened the DevDay Da Nang 2026 event. The program attracted more than 3,000 participants.
The event is organized by Axon Active Vietnam in coordination with Duy Tan University, with the support of the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang City.
This is the 11th year the program has been organized, continuing to affirm its position as the largest non-profit information technology event in Da Nang.
With the theme "AI x Human", DevDay this year focuses on the cooperative relationship between humans and artificial intelligence in the context of digital transformation.
The program includes 2 thematic discussion sessions with the participation of many domestic and foreign experts, along with 16 in-depth workshops on artificial intelligence, automation, professional skills and technology trends.
In addition, the technology exhibition and job fair area gathers more than 20 businesses, creating opportunities to connect between employers and young human resources.
After more than a decade of organization, DevDay has become an important connecting point of the technology community, contributing to promoting cooperation between the state, schools, businesses and the scientific community.
The event also supports the development of high-quality human resources, meeting the needs of digital transformation and digital economy development of the city.
DevDay is not only a technology conference but also a platform to promote innovation, contributing to promoting Da Nang's image as a dynamic technology center of the region.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Tran Ngoc Thach - Deputy Director of Da Nang Department of Science and Technology said that Da Nang city has achieved initial results in technology development and application.
By 2025; the city is ranked 766th in the Top 1,000 typical startup cities worldwide (increasing 130 places in 2025 alone); and 6 years is a smart city (unique) in Vietnam, a "living party city" of Vietnam voted by the people.
Da Nang City is implementing many initiatives and solutions to strongly develop science and technology; setting a target by 2030; Da Nang is a "start-up city. international-level innovation"; is an AI-oriented smart city (AI City) and in the "Top 50 smart cities globally"; digital economy accounts for 35-40% of GRDP", Mr. Thach said.
DevDay Da Nang 2026 with the theme "AI x Human" fully resonates with Da Nang's development vision, is one of the practical levers, contributing to realizing the city's vision.
