5 new schools start construction in border areas
In Dac Pring commune, the Dac Pring Primary and Secondary Boarding School project in village 56A was built on an area of over 7 hectares, including 30 classrooms, student-teacher boarding areas, libraries, multi-purpose houses and synchronous technical infrastructure. The total investment is 293 billion VND, expected to be completed in August 2026.
In A Vuong commune, the A Vuong Primary - Secondary Boarding School project in A Zhat village was built on an area of over 7 hectares (70.281m2), with a scale of 30 classes, including: primary and secondary boarding school; teachers and staff; multi-purpose building, library and synchronous technical infrastructure system. The total investment is 293 billion VND, expected to be completed and put into use in August 2026.
In La De commune, the Inter-level Boarding School project has a total capital of VND 291.5 billion, an area of over 78,700m2, including a system of classrooms, boarding areas, industrial parks, dining - kitchens, libraries and auxiliary infrastructure. The project is expected to be put into use from the 2026-2027 school year. On this occasion, the city presented gifts to 20 students overcoming difficulties and supported 22 households affected by the project.
In Hung Son commune, a boarding project worth over VND278 billion was started with a scale of 38 classrooms (25 primary schools, 13 secondary schools), student-teacher boarding areas, multi-purpose houses, libraries, sports fields and experiential gardens. The project is expected to be completed and put into use in the 2026-2027 school year.
In La Ai commune, the La Ai Primary - Secondary Boarding School project meets the learning needs of more than 300 boarding students.
Attending the groundbreaking ceremony of the project in Dac Pring commune, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang said that according to the plan, the city will work with the whole country to start construction at 5 border schools last week. However, due to complicated weather, heavy rain and the risk of landslides, the city decided to simultaneously start construction of schools today.
Despite the warning of heavy rain, the city leaders promptly attended the groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate with the people and students in the border area when the new school was spacious and nurtured.
Construction in "3 shifts, 4 teams", ensuring the quality of boarding schools
To ensure the operation of new schools to serve the 2026-2027 school year, the Secretary of the City Party Committee requested the Education and Training sector to coordinate with units and localities to directly direct closely and promptly to resolve difficulties and problems; support contractors, construction units, supervision consultants to focus all construction resources in the spirit of 3 shifts and 4 teams, overcoming the sun and overcoming the rain.
Party committees, authorities, construction units, and relevant agencies need to comply with quality, progress, site clearance, material sources, technical and aesthetic skills, and labor safety.
