On November 25, Danang University held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of technical infrastructure works, Sub-Project 1 of Technical Infrastructure Construction and other urgent works. This is a level III technical infrastructure work carried out on an area of 49 hectares in the Danang University Construction Planning Area (in Hoa Quy Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, Danang City). The project has a construction and equipment value of more than 300 billion VND with the requirement to be implemented first among a total of 7 construction items of the project.
The project includes leveling the ground on an area of about 32 hectares, building 8 roads with a total length of 4,750m, a rainwater drainage system of 8,300m, a wastewater drainage system of over 4,500m, a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 275m3/day and night, a water supply and fire protection system of nearly 5,000m, a power supply system with a medium-voltage cable line of about 3,200m along with a modern lighting, communication and surveillance camera system. The project is expected to take about 400 days to complete by the end of 2025.
Once completed and put into use, this item will meet the technical infrastructure requirements to continue implementing construction of Danang University's works according to the approved plan.
Sub-Project 1 with a scale of more than VND 2,760 billion is a group A project, with the Prime Minister deciding on investment policy from mixed capital sources including ODA loans and domestic counterpart capital.

This is a decisive factor contributing to achieving the overall development goal of Danang University, which is to become a Center for training, scientific research, and technology development according to international standards.
At the same time, providing high-quality human resources suitable for the country's socio-economic development requirements and the world's level of scientific and technological development in the new period - the period of national development, seizing opportunities to create new miracles," said Mr. Nguyen Manh Toan, Vice President of Danang University.
According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Toan, the success of the project will contribute to raising the level of Danang University to become Danang National University in the near future.
The project to build technical infrastructure and urgent works for Danang University in Hoa Quy - Dien Ngoc is a national key project, of strategic significance to the development of higher education and scientific research of the country in general and of Danang University in particular.
