Abolish early admission, consider admission based on academic records in the same period as high school exam scores
In 2025, Hanoi University of Architecture will not consider admission early based on transcripts as before, instead considering the same time as the high school graduation exam score. Candidates can use the average score of 6 semesters of the subjects in the admission combination to register for majors such as:
Water supply and drainage techniques, Urban Infrastructure techniques, Urban Environment techniques;
Construction mechanical engineering technology, Traffic construction engineering;
Management of construction projects, Construction of urban underground works, Civil and industrial construction;
Construction materials engineering technology;
The school applies a general admission method for both graduates in 2025 and previous years. The transcript score will be added to the general admission system, converted to the same scale as the high school graduation exam score.
Admission based on high school graduation exam scores
The admission method based on high school graduation exam scores applies to all majors without a talent test subject in the admission combination. Admission scores are calculated based on the total score of three subjects in the group and the priority score (if any).
The combinations with the talent exam subject remain the same, including:
V00 (Math, Physics, Fine Arts painting)
V01 (Math, Literature, Fine Arts painting)
V02 (Math, English, Fine Arts painting)
H00 (Literature, Fine Arts, color decoration layout)
H02 (Math, Fine Arts, color decoration layout)
Changes in priority admission policy
In 2025, candidates with an IELTS certificate of 6.0 will no longer be admitted directly to the Advanced Architecture Program as before but will only receive priority points.
For the two international joint programs, the school still reviews applications combined with direct interviews according to the regulations of the partner school.
Adding admission subjects according to the new education program
Because the 2025 high school graduation exam is applied according to the new program, Hanoi University of Architecture has adjusted the admission combination, as follows:
The Technology subject is added to the admission combination of majors: Water supply and drainage technology, Urban Infrastructure technology, Urban environmental engineering, Construction mechanical engineering technology, Traffic construction engineering...
Informatics is added to the admission combination of majors: Information Technology, Multimedia Technology, Game Technology.
