The opening ceremony began with a minute of silence to commemorate the compatriots and soldiers who died in storm No. 3.
Previously, Ton Duc Thang University also organized a fundraising campaign, with each teacher, staff and employee voluntarily contributing at least 1 day's salary; students supporting according to their ability, to send to compatriots affected by storm No. 3.
This school year, Khanh Hoa Branch has 231 new students admitted and enrolled.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Tran Trong Dao - President of Ton Duc Thang University expressed his thanks to parents and students for placing their trust in Ton Duc Thang University.
At the same time, Dr. Tran Trong Dao sent advice to new students, they need to have a spirit of independence, self-control and self-responsibility; must know how to set goals, make plans and practice self-study, self-reading and self-research skills to develop themselves.

At the opening ceremony, Ton Duc Thang University also awarded scholarships to students with the highest entrance exam scores of the majors at Khanh Hoa Branch.
Previously, on September 20, Ton Duc Thang University held the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year and welcomed new students of the 28th course at its main campus in Ho Chi Minh City.
In 2024, Khanh Hoa Branch has deployed enrollment and training for 9 regular university majors (English, Accounting, Law, Vietnamese Studies, Marketing, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Graphic Design and Computer Science), 5 part-time university majors (English, Accounting, Law, Software Engineering and Computer Science) and 4 master's degree majors (Business Administration, Applied Mathematics, Construction Engineering, Computer Science).
