The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place on June 26 and 27 with the participation of more than 1.1 million students nationwide.
This is a special exam, organized according to both general education programs in 2018 and 2006, and takes place in the context of the whole country urgently implementing the arrangement of the two-level local government model and the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units.
The reference questions for all subjects (according to the 2018 general education program) are updated by Lao Dong for students, parents, and teachers across the country to follow:

With the 2018 general education program, the exam has many innovations, especially in the structure and content of the exam. The Ministry of Education and Training said that the 2025 high school graduation exam closely follows the content of the current general education program, ensuring the correct assessment of students' abilities and qualities. Candidates need to understand the knowledge and skills in the program with many textbooks, especially practical and applied issues.
In addition to the Literature exam in the form of an essay, the remaining subjects will take multiple-choice questions with 3 types of questions: multiple-choice 4 choice answers, multiple-choice choice for correct/false answers and short-answer questions.
Literature is the subject with the longest test time, 120 minutes. As for Math, candidates will take a 90 minute test with 22 questions, a decrease of the previous 50 questions. Other subjects will study for 50 minutes, with the number of questions ranging from 28-40 questions, depending on the subject. IT and Technology are two new subjects. Economic and Legal Education was added to replace Civic Education under the 2018 general education program.
Today, June 27, candidates across the country completed the 2025 high school graduation exam. Candidates taking the new program will only take the exam in the morning with 2 elective subjects. As for free students, they will take an additional English exam in the afternoon.
