On the morning of June 26, more than 1.1 million candidates nationwide completed the Literature exam - the first subject in this year's high school graduation exam. This is the first year the exam has taken place according to the 2018 General Education Program.
Commenting on this year's Literature exam, Ho Ngoc Truc Quyen (a candidate at Chau Van Liem High School, Can Tho City) said that the exam is quite affordable, easy to do in social areas, so most candidates can complete well, even if you do not have the advantage of social subjects.
"The opening exam was favorable, so I was very happy, hoping to get above 7 points. This will be the motivation for me to strive to take the next exams Truc Quyen added.
At the Nguyen Du Secondary School exam site (HCMC), candidate Tran Hoai Thi left the exam room at 9am - 30am before the end of the exam. I confidently shared: "This year's Literature exam is easier for me than previous years. I think I will get a score of 7 - 8 points".
Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Anh - Literature teacher at Tuyensinh247.com commented that the 2025 high school graduation exam exam generally closely follows the structure in the sample exam announced by the Ministry of Education earlier. However, this year's exam has many innovations compared to the 2024 exam, especially innovation in the language in the exam.
Unlike previous years, this years exam aims to match the spirit of the 2018 General Education Program when the questions follow the category system, which solves the situation of in-the- heart and in-classroom learning that requires students to have a firm grasp of the characteristics of each category, assess the reading comprehension, absorption and analysis abilities of each student Ms. Quynh Anh commented.
Regarding the level and exam, Ms. Quynh Anh believes that it is highly differentiated and accurately assesses students' abilities.
Ms. Quynh Anh predicts the average score of Literature in 2025 to be 6.5. The highest score that the contestant achieved was 8 points.
For candidates studying in the 2006 General Education Program, they will take their own test. Many students also commented that the Literature exam is not too difficult. The work on the contest is "A Phu's Couple".
Completing the exam with a bright smile, Do Thi Hong (born in 2006, Hoai Duc, Hanoi) said that she had carefully reviewed the document of A Phu and his wife, so she was quite satisfied with her exam preparation.
