Hanoi City People's Committee is seeking opinions on the draft Resolution of the City People's Council stipulating tuition fees for public general education institutions established by universities, colleges, and research institutes as prescribed in the city; tuition fees for supplementary programs and the list, collection rates for services according to the criteria of high-quality education services applicable to high-quality public education institutions of the city.
In the draft, the Hanoi People's Committee proposed adjusting tuition fees for the 2026-2027 school year for high-quality public schools at all levels of education, from preschool to high school.
At the preschool level, the highest proposed tuition fee is 5.95 million VND/month, applied at 20-10 Kindergarten and Viet Trieu Huu Nghi Kindergarten.



For primary school, the highest tuition fee is expected to be up to 6 million VND/student/month. In which, the Cambridge system of Nam Tu Liem Primary School applies this fee for students from grades 1 to 5.
At the secondary school level, high-quality schools such as Cau Giay Secondary School, Le Loi Secondary School and Nam Tu Liem Secondary School are also adjusted tuition fees. In the 2026-2027 school year, the expected tuition fee for grade 6 is 4 million VND, and the tuition fee for grades 7 to 9 is 3.7 million VND/month, this tuition fee is higher than the previous school year.
Le Loi Secondary School is proposed to increase tuition fees to 4.8 million VND/month.
Nam Tu Liem Secondary School is proposed to increase slightly from 4.02 million VND to 4.1 million VND/month.
For the group of secondary schools established by universities, colleges, and research institutes, the draft proposes that tuition fees of Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary School increase from 2.365 million VND to 2.54 million VND/month, equivalent to an increase of 7.4%.
