Before the training session, the coaching staff organized a professional meeting to disseminate the plan and tactical requirements in the next phase of the training trip.
On the field, coach Kim Sang-sik divided the team into two groups to compete against each other on the entire field. Unlike previous training sessions, the Korean strategist mainly observed and monitored the coordination ability, playing style and form of each player instead of constantly giving instructions. This is considered an important review step for the coaching staff to assess the force and choose the squad for practice matches.

Before the training session, young center-back Dinh Quang Kiet shared his feelings when participating in the training trip with the national team for the first time.
This is the first time I have trained with the Vietnamese national team, so I am very happy and also quite surprised. This is a great opportunity for me to learn, re-examine myself and look to the future," Quang Kiet said.
At the age of 19, the player from Hoang Anh Gia Lai club is the youngest member on this call-up list. The 1m96 tall center-back said that training with experienced seniors helps him accumulate more professional lessons.
Through each training session and sparring competition, I always try to observe and learn from the brothers playing in the same position to accumulate more experience and become more mature," Quang Kiet said.

Assessing his personal progress, the young center-back believes that regularly playing in the V.League in the Hoang Anh Gia Lai shirt is an important factor helping him develop quickly.
I am very grateful to the Hoang Anh Gia Lai coaching staff for creating conditions for me to play a lot in the V.League. Those matches helped me accumulate experience and have the opportunity to be called up to the national team by coach Kim Sang-sik," Quang Kiet shared.
Possessing a height of 1m96, the tallest in the current national team, Quang Kiet affirmed that he always strives to promote his advantages in aerial duels and aerial ball disputes, and at the same time continue to improve his limited skills.
Speaking about competition in the national team, the center-back born in 2007 believes that this is a motivation for players to try harder.
Everyone wants to be on the competition list and contribute to the national team. Therefore, everyone is trying their best in each training session," Quang Kiet emphasized.
According to the plan, on the afternoon of July 5, the Vietnamese national team will play a friendly match with Siheung FC. This is the first match in a series of three friendly matches of coach Kim Sang-sik's team in Korea, before successively meeting Yongin FC (K.League 2) and Gangwon FC (K.League 1). The matches will help the coaching staff assess the ability to operate the playing style, test the force and create opportunities for many players to show before upcoming international tasks.
