On May 19, according to Lao Dong's source, leaders of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee agreed with the scale of research to prepare a report proposing investment policy for the Lang Son College project.
The total investment of the project is estimated at about 180.19 billion VND, based on the plan proposed by the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board.
However, the Provincial People's Committee assessed that the draft plan for arranging and arranging the works belonging to the overall school currently does not highlight the synchronicity. The architectural space and general landscape have also not ensured harmony.
To accelerate the progress of investment preparation, the province requests the Investment and Construction Project Management Board to coordinate with the school to urgently review and rebuild the master plan plan.
The new design must ensure science, rationality, synchronicity and create more open space to meet the development requirements of the school. In addition, units need to consider and study supplementing wastewater treatment plans.
Regarding site clearance, the province agrees with the plan to continue to compensate for the remaining area within the school's land plan. The province also agreed to adjust the land area to expand the road to the school.
Regarding the proposal to expand the school space to the land belonging to Nam Hoang Dong I urban area, the Provincial People's Committee has not yet considered it.
Provincial leaders requested the Project Management Board to have an official document to ask for the opinion of the collective leadership of the Provincial People's Committee on this content.
At the same time, the investor of the Nam Hoang Dong I Urban Area project also needs to have a document sent to relevant agencies regarding the company's recommendations.
Previously, in September 2025, Lang Son College was established on the basis of merging Lang Son Vocational College and Lang Son Medical College into Lang Son Pedagogical College and under the management of the Provincial People's Committee.
Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee at that time emphasized that the merger, new establishment and investment for Lang Son College is a strategic step in fundamentally renovating the vocational education system.
This also shows the drastic spirit of the locality in rearranging public non-business units in a streamlined, effective and efficient direction.
