In May, the sunshine in the border area spreads honey-like yellow, the joyful atmosphere spreads throughout the Trade Union levels here.
According to the latest information, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor decided to award Certificates of Merit for promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style among workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ) to 43 collectives and 88 individuals, including the Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) of Lang Son province.
Talking to reporters, Ms. Be Thi Hoa, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the Lang Son Provincial Labor Federation shared: "Learning from Uncle Ho, first of all, is closeness and understanding to best care for the lives of workers, helping them feel secure in contributing.

One of the notable achievements of the Provincial Trade Union organization in the past time is maintaining stable jobs and income. Currently, throughout the province, there are no units or businesses with Trade Union organizations that have experienced salary arrears for officials and employees.
From 2021 to now, Trade Union levels have organized visits and encouragements to nearly 105,000 union members and workers with a total budget of up to 50.7 billion VND.
Accompanying the aspirations of poor workers to settle down, 180 "Trade Union Shelters" have been supported with new construction and repairs with an amount of 5.72 billion VND.
In difficult times due to natural disasters, fires or illness, 340 cases were promptly supported by the Trade Union with a support amount of 444 million VND.

Especially, during the complex COVID-19 epidemic phase, the spirit of mutual affection was highly promoted when trade union levels mobilized more than 5.2 billion VND for the Epidemic Prevention and Control Fund.
From this fund, over 5 billion VND was sent to support medical units and checkpoints and more than 1.5 billion VND was spent to share the burden for nearly 1,600 affected union members and workers.
Also according to Ms. Hoa, for a mountainous province like Lang Son, the spirit of following Uncle Ho's words is also associated with civic responsibility and the task of protecting border sovereignty.

Through mass mobilization work, trade union levels have mobilized over 4 billion VND, supporting the construction of 23 border marker inspection roads.
Along with that, activities towards grassroots levels are also being implemented synchronously in 3 border communes: Trung Khanh, Thanh Long and Thuy Hung.
Here, nearly 100 officers, soldiers and people were given health advice and free blood tests. Hundreds of millions of VND were also donated to light up patrol roads and build civil bridges, contributing to tightening the military-civilian relationship at the forefront of the Fatherland.

Over 5 years of implementation, the whole province has built and maintained 967 models following Uncle Ho's words associated with the specific nature of each unit's work. Typical movements such as "Health smiles - Dedicated to serving patients", "One good deed for patients every day" or "Implementing electricity saving in production" have silently contributed to creating a civilized, safe and efficient working environment.
The spread of political activities is also reflected in the enthusiastic response of workers. In the online contest "Learning about Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style", there were 177,774 union members participating, excellently bringing home 38 out of a total of 55 awards in the province.
Taking the rights, peace and increasingly improved life of workers as a measure, that is the solid foundation for building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization," the leader of the Provincial Labor Federation of the border region confided.
