23km from the Hong Thai High School exam site (Dan Phuong district, Hanoi), Truong Hoang Hai Anh (born in 2005, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi) started at 11:30 to complete the procedures.
Although he is a 2nd year student majoring in Information Technology at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hai Anh is still determined to retake the entrance exam to fulfill his dream of becoming a Military Technical Academy.

Sharing about his feelings before the important exam, Hai Anh said: "I am quite confident because it is also the second time I have taken the exam. I stopped reviewing today to rest and prepare mentally. I aim to get 27 points".
In the test sessions, Hai Anh also scored 8 - 9 for each subject in the A00 group he registered for. Sharing the same wish to enter the same Military Technical Academy as Hai Anh, Nguyen Duy Loi (born in 2006, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi) is still actively reviewing for the exam today.
"I am still quite worried about Chemistry when I only get 6 - 7 points in my practice. After completing the exam procedures, I plan to go home and continue to systematize my knowledge tonight" - Duy Loi said.
The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place on June 26-28. The exam will take place simultaneously with the 2018 and 2006 general education programs.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, this year's exam has the registration of more than 1.16 million candidates. Of which, the number of candidates taking the new 2018 program is over 1.13 million students, the number of candidates taking the old program is nearly 25,000 students.
For students participating in the new program, they will take 4 subjects, including compulsory Math and Literature and 2 elective subjects from the remaining subjects.
Phan Nguyen Linh - a 12th grade student at Ly Thai To High School is one of the finalists in the new program this year. I expressed my excitement before the official exam date because this is the first year of the exam according to the new program, with many changes in exam methods, exam format...
But until now, in front of the school, I feel confident - the female student said comfortably and said that she has reviewed her academic records at many universities and has not put too much pressure on the graduation exam.
"Although the exam mood is comfortable, the hot weather in Hanoi today also made the candidates a bit uncomfortable" - Nguyen Minh Quang, a 12th grade student at the University of Education High School for the Gifted said.
The male student said that he had submitted his application to Foreign Trade University with SAT and IELTS certificates, so there was no pressure and he achieved the goal of all subjects above 8 points.
As for English, even though I study this major, I said it would be difficult to get a score of 10 because the test may have a solve solve problem. This year's exam was held at 2,493 exam locations with more than 50,000 exam rooms. It is expected that about 200,000 personnel will be mobilized to participate in the organization of the exam such as cadres, teachers in the education sector, police force, army, health, electricity, etc.
This year's high school graduation exam is organized in 3 sessions, one session shorter than before. On the first day - June 26, candidates took two compulsory subjects: Literature and Math. The next day (September 27), the students took the elective exam. Candidates are arranged by subject so they do not have to travel much.
Through the inspection of exams in localities, Professor Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training, assessed that all provinces and cities are ready, ensuring all conditions on facilities, human resources, and material resources for the exam to take place safely and seriously.
In addition, this year, the 2025 high school graduation exam will be printed in A3 instead of A4 as every year to facilitate the printing of stars and reduce the risk of missing pages. The number of questions is printed according to the number of candidates in each exam room. For example, if a class has 10 candidates taking the Physics exam, it will only print from the subject code 01 to the subject code 10, which can be combined on a piece of A3 (in two sides).
