In 2025, the whole country will have about 10 large-scale competency and thinking assessment exams organized by universities. Of which, the exams of Hanoi National University (HSA), Ho Chi Minh City National University (APT) and Hanoi University of Science and Technology (TSA) are the largest, with 50-100 schools using their results for admission.
Currently, some universities have officially announced the floor score for the admission method using the competency and thinking assessment test scores in 2025. This is the minimum score that candidates need to achieve to be eligible to apply for admission to the school.
Schools should note that the above floor score is still calculated based on the original score of each exam, not the admission score.
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, this year, schools must convert the equivalent entrance threshold and admission scores between methods and combinations to a common scale. The conversion formula will be announced after the high school graduation exam scores are available.
