In 2025, Dong Thap University will enroll full-time students in the university system using the following methods:

Admission majors: all 47 majors of undergraduate training, 1 major of college training in Preschool Education.
Threshold conditions for quality assurance when registering for admission:
- High school graduation or equivalent
- For teacher training majors:
+ Admission to university level is based on the entire 12th grade academic results are assessed as good (academic performance is classified as good or better) or a high school graduation score of 8.0 or higher.
+ Admission to the college level is based on the entire 12th grade academic results are assessed as good ( Bonely classified academic performance) or high school graduation scores of 6.5 or higher for the field of Preschool Education at college level.
- Attend the 2025 competency assessment exam organized by VNU-HCM and have a result of at least 600 admission scores (on a scale of 1,200).
45. Hai Phong University
- Admission results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
- Admission based on high school academic results.
- Use international certificate results for combined admission.
- Consider the results of the 2025 Competency Assessment or Thinking Assessment Exam organized by Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City National University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hanoi National University of Education (Level majors: Pedagogy, English Language, Chinese language are not considered for admission according to this method).
- Direct admission.
Entering threshold for the method of using the results of the competency assessment and thinking test:
- Candidates with a Hanoi National University (HSA) competency assessment score of 75 points or more; Ho Chi Minh City National University (APT) achieves 600 points or more; or have a Hanoi University of Science and Technology (TSA) thinking assessment test score of 50 points or more.
- For the results of the Hanoi National University of Education's competency assessment test (SPT): candidates with a total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination of the registered major is from 16.00 points or more.
Previously, more than 40 universities including: Foreign Trade University, Banking Academy, University of Commerce... have also announced the floor score for capacity assessment and thinking assessment.
