According to Decision No. 666 signed by Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong, detailed allocation of more than 1,422 billion VND of central budget capital in 2026 assigned by the Prime Minister to 9 projects of Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary Schools in 9 border communes.
Specifically, Thanh Nua inter-level boarding school 166.3 billion VND; Thanh Yen commune 150 billion VND; Nua Ngam commune 161.1 billion VND; Na Bung commune 165 billion VND; Sin Thau commune 147.75 billion VND; Quang Lam commune 165 billion VND; Nam Ke commune 165 billion VND; Muong Nha commune 150 billion VND and Sam Mun commune 150 billion VND.
The total investment for the above 9 projects is more than 1,896 billion VND.
Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee requests investors to urgently organize the implementation of project items according to the plan.
In addition, the Provincial People's Committee also directed to strengthen inspection and supervision of progress, proactively coordinate with relevant agencies to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles arising.
To date, Dien Bien has 15 projects to build inter-level boarding schools (10 projects have completed approval, contractor selection and construction organization).
In which, Si Pa Phin Inter-level Boarding School (Si Pa Phin commune) was inaugurated on January 31, 2026. This is the first project to reach the finish line in the campaign to build schools in border areas according to the policy of the Politburo.
9 other projects are being implemented simultaneously in terms of ground leveling, foundation construction and building structure with a site handover rate of 95-100%.
As for 5 new projects started on March 19, the progress of preparation, appraisal and approval is being urgently accelerated to soon allocate capital and construct.
