Iran on April 2 declared it would continue attacks on the US and Israel, emphasizing that the war will only end when these two countries "surrender".
Mr. Ebrahim Zolfaqari, spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Command, affirmed that the attacks will be more destructive, with greater scale and increased brutality. According to him, the US and Israel have not properly assessed Iran's military capabilities, and warned the opponent to "wait and see" the next retaliatory blows.
This statement was made after Donald Trump said Washington could make Iran "return to the Stone Age" within 2-3 weeks and said that Tehran's missile and drone attack capabilities have been significantly limited. Mr. Zolfaqari rejected this assessment, emphasizing that Iran's missile production centers and strategic military systems have not been destroyed.
According to Iran, the development and production of weapons are still maintained in secret locations, outside the enemy's attack range. This shows that Tehran's military capabilities are still preserved in the context of escalating conflict.
War broke out from the end of February when the US and Israel launched attacks on Iran. For more than a month, Tehran has continuously responded with missiles and drones, targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq and Gulf countries with US military bases.
Meanwhile, Mr. Trump repeatedly mentioned the possibility of negotiation and said that this process is achieving positive results. However, Iran completely rejected it, affirming that it has not participated in any ceasefire negotiations with Washington.
The prolonged conflict has killed more than 3,000 people, mainly in Iran and Lebanon, and seriously damaged infrastructure and energy. The situation has also disrupted global energy and aviation markets, causing instability to spread beyond the region.
