Two medical students from Hanoi University of Business and Technology were suspended from school for one year, after conducting offensive livestreams on social networks.

Regarding the case of two medical students livestreaming offensively, cursing, threatening to "inject poison" the commentator in a live broadcast on social networks, causing public outrage, on July 31, Hanoi University of Business and Technology held a Disciplinary Council meeting for these two students.

The Disciplinary Council decided to apply the form of suspension from school for a period of one year, along with reducing conduct for both of these students.

At the meeting, the two students expressed remorse and repentance for their improper statements and attitudes and accepted the school's disciplinary decision" - the school said.

Previously, social networks spread a video recording images of two employees wearing medical uniforms, sitting at the reception counter of Duc Giang General Hospital (Hanoi) making statements and actions that caused public outrage.

In the video, the two people constantly laughed and joked, pointed at their phones and said words that were considered inappropriate in the hospital environment.

Notably, these two people used inappropriate, vulgar language, and even threatened to "inject poison" to those who expressed opposing views on social networks.

Duc Giang General Hospital immediately terminated the internship guidance process and returned the two students to the training facility to continue handling according to the school's disciplinary regulations.

Hanoi University of Business and Technology emphasized the view that strict discipline will be applied because this is an unacceptable behavior, especially when students are studying Medicine - a field that requires high standards of medical ethics, behavioral standards and professional responsibility.
