At Dien Bien Provincial Ethnic Minority Boarding High School (PTDTNT), instead of narrowing the space for learning knowledge through books, the school has been opening lively "outdoor classes".
These trips not only bring joy, but also are opportunities for students to observe, learn and instill career orientations for the future.
Recently (April 16), class 11B7 of the Provincial Ethnic Minority Boarding High School had a memorable day experience at Phieng Loi village community tourism point (Dien Bien Phu ward).

When arriving at the village, the students divided into small groups to collect garbage around the area. This is a small action but contributes to cleaning up the tourist landscape, while directly spreading the message of environmental protection.
After working hours, students will prepare lunch themselves. Some light the stove, some pre-process food... Although their hands sometimes operate clumsily, coordination and a sense of responsibility have helped the groups complete simple but cozy meals.
In the afternoon, the children continued to visit traditional stilt houses, learn about the daily life, culture and customs of the Thai ethnic group.

On April 19, the School's Photography - Fine Arts Club also organized a field trip to the "hot" grass hill in Tia Lo B village (Pu Nhi commune).
Here, children are immersed in the wild grass ecosystem imbued with the characteristics of the high mountains of the Northwest.
Vang Thi Kim Hanh (10th grade) said: "The trips have helped me discover the beauty of Dien Bien, and at the same time have the opportunity to observe the reality of how local people do economics and work, from which I myself have also learned many useful things.
Teacher Lo Thi Hien - Provincial Ethnic Minority Boarding High School said that the school always regularly creates conditions for students to be exposed to practical experience activities.
The activities are designed to be associated with local reality, not rigidly fixed in time. The experience content is rich, from conveying knowledge and lessons to reality, exploring the beauty of nature and people, to educating love for homeland and country" - the teacher said.

In particular, practical experiences will be the basis for students to have career orientations and choices in the future.
Mr. Vu Trung Hoan - Principal of the Provincial Ethnic Minority Boarding High School said that organizing practical experience activities is one of the important solutions to improve the quality of comprehensive education for students.
Through these activities, students are given conditions to play healthily, relieve post-school pressure, and at the same time practice life skills, communication skills, teamwork and adaptability to reality" - Mr. Hoan emphasized.

Also according to the Principal, experiential activities also contribute to career orientation, helping students better identify their abilities and interests to make suitable choices in the future.
In the coming time, the school will continue to innovate the content and form of organizing experiential activities in a practical, safe, and suitable direction to actual conditions, contributing to forming generations of students who develop comprehensively, confidently and bravely" - Mr. Vu Trung Hoan said.
