According to the school's warning information, there is currently a fake announcement about the program "Exchanging new students between Hai Phong University and Seoul National University - Korea". This document forged the school's seal, name and signature of the principal, along with unverified contact information, requesting to submit documents and a deposit of 250,000 VND to participate in the "virtual" program.
Hai Phong University confirmed that it did not issue any such notice. All international exchange programs are officially announced on fanpages, websites, or officially announced internally. The fees, if any, will be notified publicly, transparently and absolutely do not require transfer to individuals.
The school also noted that students should not provide personal information, citizen identification numbers, or bank accounts to unofficial sources. At the same time, do not pay any money without verifying information from the school.
