300 tons of diseased pork case: Parents request school to provide transparent information
After the incident of nearly 300 tons of pork infected with African cholera being smuggled into the market, which is related to the supply chain to school kitchens, parents in Hanoi are particularly worried about food safety. According to information from related units, Hanoi Industrial Meal Service Joint Stock Company - a unit providing meals for many schools - mainly imports meat from major suppliers, but also uses additional sources from Cuong Phat to meet demand.
