Hanoi announces the number of 10th grade students registering for the specialized exam
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just announced the number of students registered to enroll in grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year at 4 specialized high schools in the city including: Hanoi - Amsterdam, Chu Van An, Nguyen Hue and Son Tay.

Based on the number of registrations and enrollment targets for each major, students can estimate the "struggling rate" to have a suitable review plan. Notably, students are not allowed to change their wishes after registering for specialized classes.
According to regulations, each student is allowed to register for a maximum of 10th grade of 2 of the 4 specialized high schools mentioned above. The wishes must be arranged in order of priority: wish 1 and wish 2. If registering for the same major at both schools, students need to clearly define the priority order. See more...

There will be an interdisciplinary meeting on teachers in disadvantaged areas who have not received subsidies in Quang Binh
After the reflection of Lao Dong Newspaper, the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Binh province said that it is reporting and asking for opinions on organizing an interdisciplinary meeting to clarify the case of many teachers in Minh Hoa district who have not received the regime according to Decree 76/2019 despite having worked for more than 30 years in a particularly difficult socio-economic region. The meeting will have the participation of relevant departments, branches and the People's Committee of Minh Hoa district to review and propose appropriate solutions.
Previously, many teachers reported that they had worked since 1991, were temporarily recruited by the district and were ranked as civil servants in 1994. According to regulations, those who have worked for 10 years in disadvantaged areas when transferring jobs or retiring will receive a one-time allowance. However, although they have submitted their applications since 2021, their rights have not been resolved and they have not received a clear reason.
By 2023, a group of teachers had their allowances refused on the grounds of not having an official recruitment decision and not having a document approving them to receive allowances from competent authorities. The case is being reviewed by interdisciplinary agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and protect the legitimate rights of workers. See more...
