The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) is seeking comments on the draft Decree stipulating penalties for administrative violations in the field of education, which proposes penalties for violations of regulations on management and organization of tutoring and extra classes.
In the draft, the Ministry of Education and Training proposes a fine of 2 - 5 million VND for one of the following acts:
Teachers currently teaching at the school participating in extra tutoring outside the school do not report, report incompletely or do not promptly update with the Principal about subjects, locations, forms of extra tutoring, relationships with the registered business entity of the extra tutoring facility, extra tutoring time according to regulations...
A fine of 10 - 20 million VND for one of the following acts:
Teachers who are teaching at the school tutoring outside the school and collecting money from students that teachers are assigned by the school to teach according to the school's education plan; See more...

Regarding the arrangement of the school network, Mr. Thai Van Tai - Director of the Department of General Education, Ministry of Education and Training said that after 1 year of implementing the arrangement, all 34/34 provinces and cities have completed the approval of the arrangement plan according to schedule. The total number of public preschool and general education institutions has decreased by 586 schools, and the number of leadership and management positions has decreased by 709 people.
