Hanoi bans tutoring and pre-study programs in the summer of 2026
Hanoi Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) has just issued a plan to organize summer activities for students in 2026.
According to the plan, the organization of summer activities for students is carried out on the principle of voluntariness, in the spirit of strengthening propaganda, encouraging students to participate with the support and consensus of parents.
Regarding summer cultural review activities for students, the plan of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training clearly states that general schools and vocational education - continuing education centers develop cultural review plans and foster knowledge for weak and poor students. Units arrange reasonable time to organize tests and grade promotion for students who are subject to re-exams and students who must practice in the summer.
Hanoi Department of Education and Training notes that schools do not organize extra classes or tutoring in any form; do not organize pre-programming; review, test preparation, testing, and surveys to classify classes for the 2026 - 2027 school year; strictly implement the provisions of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDĐT regulating extra classes and tutoring and Circular No. 19/2026/TT-BGDĐT on amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDĐT. More than 26,000 Khanh Hoa students compete for a place in public 10th grade
