Teachers, educational administrators (hereinafter referred to as teachers) in public, private, and semi-public educational institutions, including: Preschool education institutions; primary schools, secondary schools, general schools with multiple levels of education with primary or secondary levels, continuing education centers, vocational education - continuing education centers, specialized schools, other educational institutions implementing the general education program for primary or secondary levels (hereinafter referred to as general education institutions);

The implementation roadmap is from July 1, 2020 to the end of December 31, 2030, divided into 2 phases:
Phase 1: From July 1, 2020 to the end of December 31, 2025, ensure that at least 60% of preschool teachers who are being trained or have completed the training program are granted pedagogical college diplomas;
Phase 2: From January 1, 2026 to the end of December 31, 2030, implemented for the remaining teachers to ensure that 100% of preschool teachers who complete the training program are granted pedagogical college diplomas. See more...
Candidates registering for the 2nd round of competency assessment exam increase sharply
Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) said that as of the deadline for registration on April 25, the capacity assessment (V-ACT) exam phase 2 of 2026 of VNU-HCM has 172,622 registered candidates, of which 169,935 candidates have completed fees.
