One province plans to reduce 153 schools by 2030

On June 14, information from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee said that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has just unanimously approved the project to arrange and reorganize public preschool and general education institutions according to the 2-level local government model, phase 2026-2030.

According to the project, the whole province currently has 1,412 public preschool and general education institutions. By 2030, it is expected to reduce 153 schools. Along with that, 883 satellite school points will be arranged, reducing 310 points to 573 points.
