Urgently prepare for the new school year 2025 - 2026
On September 5, students across the country will simultaneously open the 2025 - 2026 school year with many new points. Schools held the opening ceremony in person combined with online, creating a synchronous general atmosphere across the country. Many creative activities are included such as signing a "Digital Citizen" commitment, launching a digital space, folk games, non-banh luong festival, making happy meals... helping students experience and connect with family and community.

To meet the requirements of innovation, school facilities have been reviewed, repaired and supplemented with equipment and documents according to the 2018 General Education Program. Students are given 2 free sessions/day, in the afternoon there are more clubs, experiential activities and advanced training. Teachers are trained in technology, digital transformation, AI application in lectures, as well as practicing STEM and digital citizen organization skills to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
Along with that, the management of extra teaching and learning has been tightened. The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training requires teachers not to teach extra classes at home, must register at a legal center and be managed via software to make information transparent. Schools must also fully prepare facilities, yards, roofs, screens, and stable communication lines to ensure the opening ceremony takes place solemnly and safely, creating a friendly learning environment where students want to go to school and parents can feel secure in leaving their children. Optimizing facilities, Can Tho is ready for the new school year
Students struggle to find a room at the beginning of the new school year in Thai Nguyen mountain town

Many students and parents in Thai Nguyen are having difficulty finding a room at the beginning of the new school year due to high rental prices. Many parents have to travel hundreds of kilometers to help their children find a place to live, but most of the boarding houses near the school are full, and the remaining rooms are empty, so the price is pushed up by one and a half times, beyond the affordability of many families, especially those in mountainous areas.
Currently, the price of affordable accommodation ranges from 1.6 - 1.8 million VND/month, while air conditioned rooms with hot and cold bottles can cost up to 2 - 3 million VND. Facing cost pressure, many students are forced to live in a cramped house, accepting a cramped life to save money. This has caused many new students to worry and struggle to stabilize their accommodation before entering the new school year.
To support, some universities have coordinated with the youth union to find student accommodation. The University of Science (Thai Nguyen University) has allocated 200 million VND to deposit more than 500 rooms and arrange dormitories for disadvantaged students, in order to partly meet their accommodation needs. However, the pressure of boarding houses is still a big concern for many families and new students during the school year. See more...
