10th and 11th grade knowledge may appear in the high school graduation exam
According to Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Deputy Director of the Department of Quality Management (Ministry of Education and Training), the exam will closely follow the current general education program, comprehensively assess students' abilities, and have practical questions to differentiate. Although mainly focusing on grade 12, the exam still has content from grades 10 and 11, requiring candidates to apply interdisciplinary knowledge.
The Literature exam subject according to the new program is divided into 2 parts: Reading comprehension (4 points) and Writing (6 points), in which social luan has 2 points, literary luan has 4 points - changed compared to the old structure. Other subjects will be tested in a multiple-choice format, including 3 parts: choose 1 of 4 answers (0.25 points per question), true/false questions (calculating the progressive score based on the number of correct questions), and short answers. Math is reduced to 22 questions, done in 90 minutes; other subjects have 2840 questions, 50 minutes.
The exam has new subjects such as IT, Technology, and Economic - Legal Education (replacing Citizen Education in the new program). Unbelievable confusion on the day of completing the procedures for taking the high school graduation exam in Hanoi
On the afternoon of June 25, more than 124,000 candidates in Hanoi went to the exam sites to complete procedures to take the 2025 high school graduation exam. Of which, more than 2,500 candidates under the 2006 general education program were arranged at 4 separate exam locations, the rest were candidates under the 2018 program allocated at 229 exam locations. At the My Dinh High School exam location, nearly 700 candidates came to complete the procedures, with the support of 120 volunteers from My Dinh High School and Hanoi National University.

During the procedure, it was noted that some candidates had confused the exam scores between My Dinh High School and My Dinh 1 Secondary School. However, the volunteers promptly supported the students to move to the correct exam locations before the regulations are disseminated, ensuring that no candidate's admission rights were affected by this error.
To support candidates, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has launched a map of the 2025 high school graduation exam scores, providing full information about each exam score, including location, number of rooms, number of candidates, and having the function of location and accurate direction. More than 11,800 candidates in Quang Binh have come to the exam sites to complete the procedures for the 2025 high school graduation exam. According to the Department of Education and Training of Quang Binh, this year's exam has 11,843 candidates registered to take the exam, an increase of 580 students compared to last year.
