Reckless prices for additional teaching services
After Circular 29/2024/TT-BGDDT took effect, many surprised teachers appeared, offering teachers to hire services to register for extra classes at prices ranging from 1.2 - 3 million VND. Some parties claiming to be legal assistants also provide this service, ensuring that teachers only need to provide documents and wait for a license.

In addition to direct spooks, many groups and forums also sell additional business registration services for teachers with prices ranging from a few million to tens of millions of VND. If teachers want to open a center, the cost can be up to 35 - 40 million VND, not to mention other legal procedures such as fire prevention and fighting, and a license for children for professional teachers.
Lawyers warn teachers to be alert to offers and avoid falling into scams because the professional qualifications of intermediaries have not been verified. At the same time, because there are no specific regulations on service prices, suppliers often offer prices depending on the agreement. See more...

Changing teaching methods if applying traffic safety tests

In the face of increasing traffic accidents involving students, the National Traffic Safety Committee proposes requiring students to have a traffic safety test (TST) to improve awareness and educational efficiency. Many parents agree, saying that the current traffic safety training program is mainly formal, not helping students apply knowledge into practice.
Experts emphasized that traffic safety teaching needs to be suitable for each level of education: preschool, primary school focus on recognition, higher level need to practice practice. Teaching should be innovative, avoid dryness and boredom so that students can absorb better. The Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety 2024 (effective from January 1, 2025) stipulates the integration of traffic safety knowledge into the preschool education program.
In addition, the new law also tightens management of giving vehicles to underage people, with a fine of 8-30 million VND depending on the vehicle. Experts recommend that parents and schools need to increase their responsibility in managing and educating students, ensuring safety when participating in traffic. See more...
