Chu Van An High School for the Gifted is currently the only specialized school in Lang Son province.

If one class is added, the scale will increase to three classes, equal to Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, Ho Chi Minh City and higher than the common level in many specialized schools in localities with similar conditions.
