According to the decision signed on December 5 by the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh province, 156 students with an IELTS score of 7.0 or higher and 1 student with an international certificate in French DELF D2 with a score of 79.00 are exempted from taking the Ha Tinh Provincial Excellent Student Selection Exam for grade 12 in the 2024-2025 school year.
Among the 157 students specially recognized as excellent students of the province this time, there are 2 students who achieved 8.5 IELTS points, 12 students who achieved 8.0 IELTS points, equivalent to first prize; 56 students who achieved 7.5 IELTS points, equivalent to second prize; 86 students who achieved 7.0 IELTS points, equivalent to third prize for excellent students of the province in English; 1 student who achieved DELF B2 certificate in French was specially recognized as first prize.
Most of them are students at Ha Tinh Specialized High School and Phan Dinh Phung High School (Ha Tinh city).
In Ha Tinh, the special recognition of excellent foreign language students in grade 12 has been implemented for many years. The number of students receiving special recognition increases every year.
According to a leader of the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh province, the issuance of a special decision to recognize excellent students in Ha Tinh province aims to create motivation to promote the foreign language learning movement for students, thereby contributing to improving the quality of foreign language teaching and learning in the area.
