The People's Council of Hai Duong province has just passed a Resolution on supporting the cost of undergraduate training in two majors of Law and English for cadres, civil servants and public employees working at agencies and units in the province.
Accordingly, the province will support all tuition fees according to the fees collected by training institutions for 165 cadres, civil servants, and public employees, including 135 students majoring in Law and 30 students majoring in English Language.
The policy applies to courses from 2023 to 2027. The support is only calculated according to the official tuition fee, not including expenses arising from re-study, re-exams or other expenses other than tuition fees.
The total estimated cost is nearly 14.77 billion VND. Of which, nearly 12.9 billion VND is for Law students with two courses: 2023-2026 (50 people, more than 4.4 billion VND) and 2024-2027 (85 people, more than 8.4 billion VND). English Language learners (30 people, 2023-2026 course) are supported with a total of about 1.86 billion VND.
The fee will be paid after the learners complete the program and are granted a graduation certificate. In particular, in the case of students retiring early due to the restructuring of the apparatus and streamlining the payroll according to current regulations, they will be considered for support for the funding part corresponding to the time they have attended the course.
The policy aims to improve the quality of human resources in the state administrative apparatus, enhance integration capacity and meet the requirements of administrative reform in the new period.
