Implementing Decision No. 2289/QD-UBND of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province, the Management Board of Con Son - Kiep Bac Monuments (under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism) officially received the functions and tasks of managing the monuments from the Management Board of Cam Giang district, Kinh Mon town and a number of monuments in Chi Linh city, including Thanh Mai pagoda and Nam Tao pagoda, Bac Dau pagoda.
Recently, the People's Committee of Dinh Son commune has handed over the Giam Pagoda Special National Monument to the Cam Giang District Monument Management Board. Immediately afterwards, the People's Committee of Cam Giang district transferred all assets, land, infrastructure, records and the current status of special national relics including: Giam pagoda (Dinh Son commune), Mao Dien Temple (Phuc Dien commune), Xua temple (Cam Vu commune), Bia temple (Cam Van commune) to the Con Son - Kiep Bac Relic Management Board.
Previously, since November 2023, Cam Giang district has implemented a project to restore and embellish the special national relic of Vi Trung Pagoda with a total estimated cost of more than 31.2 billion VND. The project includes main items: Tam Bao house, Cuu Pham house, Cuu Pham inter-flowered tree, left and right corridor, To house, Nghe Giam, Tam Quan, Nghi Mon... and auxiliary items such as guest house, internal road yard, drainage system, lake, surrounding wall, lighting.
The reorganization of the relic management system contributes to unifying and specializing the work of preserving and promoting the value of typical cultural heritages in the province.
