2025 is the first year the whole country applies the high school graduation exam according to the new General Education Program (issued in 2018). Accordingly, 12th graders will take 4 exams in 3 sessions, including 2 compulsory subjects: Math and Literature, along with 2 elective subjects from the groups: natural sciences, social sciences, technology and foreign languages.
In particular, this year is the first time that IT and Technology have been included in the graduation exam list, reflecting the spirit of educational innovation towards comprehensive development of learners' abilities and qualities.
In Hai Duong, the whole province has 26,964 candidates registered to take the high school graduation exam, held at 51 exam locations. Of these, 362 free candidates (including those who have not graduated from previous years) will continue to take the exam under the 2006 General Education Program.
Along with that, the entrance exam for grade 10 public high school for the 2025-2026 school year in Hai Duong is scheduled to take place from June 3 to 5. The number of candidates registered to take the exam this year is 30,393, taking the exam at 41 exam boards.
To prepare for these two important exams, localities and related units have been actively implementing safety assurance work, from facilities, human resource allocation to fraud prevention work.
At the training conference on exam regulations, ensuring security and safety for the 10th high school entrance exam for the 2025 - 2026 school year and the high school graduation exam in 2025, Colonel Le Quy Thuong - Deputy Director of Hai Duong Police Department emphasized: Absolutely ensuring security and safety for the exam is a key task. He asked the units to formulate specific plans, closely coordinate with the Department of Education and Training in the situation of grasping the situation, protecting the safety of the entire exam process.
The Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department directed the police forces at all levels to strengthen the fight, prevent, detect and strictly handle acts of using high-tech equipment to defraud exams - a form of increasingly sophisticated and organized violation, requiring proactive response, not being passive or surprised.
At the same time, units will also maintain patrols and controls to ensure traffic safety and order, fire prevention and fighting, especially in " sensitive" areas such as exam locations, star printing places, exam preparation, page-making and marking.
With careful preparation by the functional sector and support from family and school, Hai Duong is making efforts to make the high school graduation exam and the 10th grade entrance exam in 2025 take place seriously, in accordance with regulations, safely, effectively and fairly for all candidates.
