White egg tuyue is sought after
When the main season's lychee fabric was not yet ready for the peak harvest, the domestic fruit market soon became vibrant thanks to the appearance of many types of early ripe fabrics, especially U-lyrics such as pink weeds, thorn U-lyrics, white egg weeds. In particular, white egg tuyulans of Thanh Ha district (Hai Duong province) are being sought after for their delicious quality and high selling price.
In Thanh Ha district, one of the largest fabric growing areas in Hai Duong province, some households have entered the white egg UB fabric harvest season. This is the earliest ripe fabric variety, the fruit is large and even, thick, sweet and lightly fragrant, and is favored by consumers. Due to low output, white egg tubers are often ordered by regular customers early, rarely appearing widely on the market.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hien - Director of the Agricultural Service Cooperative of Thanh Quang commune (Thanh Ha district), white egg tuyers are currently being sold in the garden for 80,000 VND to 100,000 VND/kg. Local authorities recommend that people only harvest when the fabric reaches suitable ripeness, to ensure the best quality when brought to the market.
Ms. Le Thi Anh, a fabric grower in Thanh Quang commune (Thanh Ha district, Hai Duong province) said that her family has more than 3 sao of white egg tuyula fabric. This year the weather is favorable, the trees bear even fruit, the flowers are beautiful. The newly-ationalled fabric has been called by customers to order.
"This type of fabric is only collected for a short period of time each year. Everyone is fascinated by eating. Customers always order in advance, so I don't have to bring them to the market to sell," Ms. Anh shared.
pink fabric dominates the market at the beginning of the season
Meanwhile, at online markets, pink tea - another early ripe tea brand - has been strongly covered since the beginning of April. pink upper fabric is mainly grown in Dak Lak, then transported to the northern provinces for consumption. On social networking platforms such as Facebook, Zalo, TikTok, it is not difficult to see clips selling, livestreaming to pick fabric in the garden, packaging, and transporting to the provinces.
Due to ripening nearly a month earlier than the seaweed, Dak Lak pink wave fabric quickly dominated the market at the beginning of the season. At the beginning of the season, retail prices at online markets ranged from only 20,000 - 70,000 VND/kg, much cheaper than last year.
Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Huyen, a trader specializing in selling fruits online in Hanoi, said: "Dak Lak pink sunglasses are not as sweet as the Southern belly fabric, but their shape is beautiful and the price is reasonable, so many customers buy them. At the beginning of the season, sales are very fast, now it is the harvest time, so the price is more affordable".
However, not all shipments are of uniform quality. Some traders said that due to the collection from many different gardens, the ripeness and flavor are not the same. If not chosen carefully, it is easy to lose the trust of customers.
Along with egg white fabric and pink fabric, the market has also begun to record gaiu fabric and lai lai huong fabric from some growing areas in Bac Giang and Hai Duong. Prices of these types range from 28,000 - 35,000 VND/kg, depending on the model and time of sale.
According to experts, the appearance of many early ripe fabric varieties on the market creates opportunities for early consumption, increasing income for growers. However, this also puts a lot of competitive pressure on the main season's seaweed - which usually starts to be harvested from the end of May.
The seaweed in Hai Duong and Bac Giang is currently in the preparation stage for harvest. This year's expected output is higher than last year due to favorable weather conditions. Localities are also actively preparing consumption channels, especially exports to China, Japan, the EU, etc.
Proactively improving quality, maintaining brands, transparency in origin and regulating the time of bringing fabric to the market are considered important solutions to keep prices stable and ensure stable output for farmers in the highly competitive crop like this year.
