Tran Bui Bao Khanh, a student of the High School for the Gifted, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, just won the laurel wreath in the final round of the Road to Olympia this year.
Ranked second and third are Doan Thanh Tung (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted - Nam Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa), Le Quang Duy Khoa (Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted in Hue) and Nguyen Nhut Lam (Cai Be High School, Dong Thap).

The final match was "hot" from the first minutes. In the Personal Starting competition, Bao Khanh started in third place and led the climbing group with 50 points. He answered 5/6 questions correctly, in many different fields such as Mathematics, English, Biology, Sociology and general knowledge. Khanh only lost points in the Literature test.
In the General Warm-up competition, the contestants rang the bell to answer a total of 12 questions. Of which, Bao Khanh only won 3 times but had 2 correct answers, consolidating his leading position.
After the warm-up round, Bao Khanh had 65 points, ranked above Duy Khoa with 60 points, Thanh Tung and Nhut Lam with 30 and 35 points respectively.
In the obstacle handling competition, Bao Khanh temporarily gave Thanh Tung the leading position after the male student of Khanh Hoa answered correctly the keyword "Truong Ba's soul, skin and meat". After overcoming the obstacle, Bao Khanh ranked second with 75 points, after Thanh Tung with 100 points.
Bao Khanh has not been able to regain his leading position in the Acceleration competition. Thanh Tung continued to consolidate his position in this competition with 210 points. Hanoi male student is still ranked second, with 185 points.

The dramatic final match ended in the last minute when Bao Khanh's championship was only decided after the final question.
As the second runner-up, Bao Khanh was calm, confident and answered quickly. I chose a 20 - 30 - 30 point question package and did not use a hope star.
In all 3 questions, Bao Khanh excellently answered all 3 correctly and returned to the leading position of the climbing group with 245 points. However, the next developments of the match made the audience, especially the teachers and students of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, " restless".
The third finisher was Duy Khoa, a male from Hue. The second question is in the field of Physics, requiring the calculation of negative acceleration in the medium. The department did not give an accurate answer. Bao Khanh was the one who won the right to answer but also answered incorrectly, deducting 15 points.
At the end of Duy Khoa's performance, Bao Khanh continued to lead with 230 points. Following is Thanh Tung with 210 points.
Nhut Lam was the last person to finish, I chose a 3-question, 30-point pack. After answering the second question correctly to the hopeful star, Lam rose to 205 points, 25 points behind Bao Khanh. Thus, if Nhut Lam answered the last question correctly, the leading position will change owners.
However, luck smiled on Bao Khanh when Nhut Lam answered incorrectly, Bao Khanh rang the bell to claim the right to answer but it was not accurate.

In the end, Bao Khanh was deducted 15 points, with 215 points, still enough to become the owner of the laurel wreath Road to Olympia in 2025.
Olympia champion contestants were awarded a gold-plated laurel wreath and received a prize of 50,000 USD (more than 1.2 billion VND). The second prize winner will receive 200 million VND, the two third prizes will receive 100 million VND per prize.
Bao Khanh won the First Prize in the City-level HSG exam in Science subjects in the 2022-2023 school year; Second Prize in the City-level HSG exam in Biology in the 2023-2024 school year; Second Prize in the City-level HSG exam in Biology in the 2024-2025 school year; Silver Medal in the 2025 High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences Olympic exam (HSGS Olympiad).
With this victory, Bao Khanh is the second contestant to win the title of champion of the Road to Olympia in 15 years.
