More than 20% of excellent graduates
On September 14, 2025, Foreign Trade University held the 2nd Graduation Ceremony in 2025 for 2,034 full-time university students at Hanoi and Quang Ninh campuses (including 190 students at Hanoi campus and 129 students at Quang Ninh campus).
Of the more than 2,000 full-time university students graduating this time, over 20% of students have achieved excellent academic results.
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thu Huong - Principal of Foreign Trade University praised the academic and training achievements of all students who were awarded their graduation certificates this time.
As a pioneer, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thu Huong would like to share with students that any career path that brings value to life is precious and the journey to achieve achievements on that path requires a lot of effort and hard work.
They should know their dreams and understand their dreams to dare to face challenges on their journey to adulthood and also to understand where they will go and how they will go. You should listen whenever possible because listening is the most sincere way to express your feelings, the way to help you receive the most love and also the most effective way to establish an ecosystem for personal development.
However, according to the President of Foreign Trade University, students should not worry too much about the path they have chosen or will have to choose, should " put faith in themselves", believe in their ability to face all challenges and always "keep a strong spirit" to accept anything that may happen on the path they have chosen or will have to choose so as not to miss the opportunities of their life.
"You should "know how to accept and learn from failure" and understand that we are "not successful", let's accept it as opportunities to practice and mature, so that we can become stronger and more persistent on the journey to conquer the goals of life" - Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thu Huong advised.
At the ceremony, the school's Principal presented Certificates of Merit and medals to 28 new graduates who achieved the title of full-time Graduated Physician of Hanoi Headquarters, Quang Ninh campus and honored and rewarded 23 outstanding students of the entire course.
Turning fear into courage to contribute
Representing the new graduates this time, Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh - Class Anh 01 JIB - K60 of the Vietnam - Japan Human Resources Development Institute (VJCC Institute), valedictorian of the International Business Bachelor program under the advanced Japanese model, and is also an outstanding graduate student of the entire K60 course, with a GPA of 3.96/4.0 and a total Assessment score of the training results of 95.5/100, expressing deep gratitude to teachers, family, friends, and relatives who have accompanied and supported them throughout their university years.
According to Kim Oanh, the 2021-2025 school year of today's graduates has a very special journey when entering university amid the COVID-19 pandemic, without a full-time principal at the high school roof, and cannot directly attend the opening ceremony to welcome new students at the university giangct.
"In the early days, every student experience only took place behind the computer screen - the confusion, peer pressure and the feeling of "fear of losing connection" "fear of missing out" creeping through. But from there, we learn to turn fear into motivation" - Oanh shared.
The female student affirmed that today's moment ends the four years of youth, but also opens the door for a new journey - broader, more opportunities, and more challenges.
