On July 16, information from the Department of Education and Training of Gia Lai province said that there are currently 348 students who are children of cadres, civil servants, public employees and people from the old Gia Lai province who have registered to transfer to live and work in Quy Nhon.
Of which, there are 67 preschool children, 155 primary school children, 101 middle school children and 25 high school children (including 10 children in the specialized program).
The provincial Department of Education and Training has requested the People's Committees of Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon Dong, Quy Nhon Tay, Quy Nhon Bac and Quy Nhon Nam wards to proactively allocate the number of students to schools in accordance with the conditions of residence and travel of parents and students.
For high school, the schools: Quoc Hoc Quy Nhon, Trung Vuong, Tran Cao Van (No. 1), Nguyen Thai Hoc (No. 1) are required to accept students depending on the capacity of each school.
Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, based on document No. 192/UBND-KGVX dated July 8, 2025, will receive specialized students from Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted (the old Gia Lai training quality standard school) according to the correct process.
Schools are also required to create conditions to receive students whose names are not on the attached list but are children of cadres, civil servants, and public employees from the old Gia Lai who wish to transfer schools.
Starting from July 11, the provincial Department of Construction will deploy a plan to bring and welcome cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers. Specifically, the route from Pleiku - Quy Nhon will pick up at the Inter-agentship Area (No. 17 Tran Hung Dao, Pleiku Ward) at 3:15 am every Monday and return to the workplace.
In the afternoon from Quy Nhon - Pleiku, the vehicle was picked up at the bus attendant's office. The time for the bus to depart is at 5:30 p.m. every Friday and return to the civil servant at the end point at the Inter-agencies Area (No. 17 Tran Hung Dao, Pleiku Ward).
