Tuition fees are different from schools
Universities training in Public Relations have announced tuition fees for the 2025 school year, ranging from 16.9 to 48 million VND per year for most training institutions.
This tuition fee is usually calculated for the two main semesters of the year. However, some schools organize three semesters per year such as Nam Can Tho University, Dai Nam University and Yersin University of Da Lat. Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) applies a 4-semester system, with a total tuition fee for the whole year of about 80 million VND - the highest among the schools enrolling in Public Relations.
The Vietnam Youth Academy is currently the school with the lowest tuition fee for this major, at 16.9 million VND/year, an increase of nearly 2 million VND compared to the previous school year.

Benchmark score at the top
Public Relations continues to be one of the majors that many candidates are interested in in in many universities.
In 2023, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the benchmark score for the Public Relations major will be up to 28.78 points according to the C00 combination (Literature, History, Geography). This is one of the highest scores in the social sector. Increase to 29.1 points in 2024 due to adjustments to the priority scoring method.
For the D01 combination (algorithms, literature, English), the benchmark score will increase from 26.75 points in 2022 to 26.45 points in 2024.
Meanwhile, the Academy of Journalism and Communication has a benchmark score on a 40-point scale, ranging from 34.97 to 38.02 points with the method of considering high school graduation exam scores. The Public Relations major in Professional Public Relations considered the D78 and R26 groups had the highest score - 38.02 points.
Some schools have softer admission scores. The National Economics University takes 27.2 points for the Public Relations major according to the traditional admission combination in 2023. In 2024, an increase of 28.18 points will apply to combinations D01 and A01.
In 2023, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Informatics will take 20 points according to the groups A01, D01, D14, D15, in which English is multiplied by a coefficient of two.
Van Hien University takes 24 points, admission is based on the combinations C00, D01, D14, D15.
