Accordingly, at the National level, Can Tho City students were honored to win 3 First prizes, 3 Second prizes, 7 Third prizes, 31 Encouragement prizes at 3 levels: Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced.
At the International Sponsorship Selection Round, Can Tho City students won 4/6 prizes of the competition, including 1 Second Prize at the Elementary level, 1 First Prize at the Intermediate level, 1 First Prize and 1 Second Prize at the Advanced level.
Contestant Bui Thao Tien (student of Doan Thi Diem Secondary School, Ninh Kieu District) won 1 National First Prize and 1 First Prize in the sponsorship selection round.
Contestant group Nguyen Nam Phat (Binh Thuy Secondary School, Binh Thuy District), Nguyen Pham Khanh Lam (An Thoi Secondary School, Binh Thuy District) won 1 National Second Prize, 1 Second Prize in the sponsorship selection round.
Contestant group Nguyen Gia Lac, Nguyen Duc An (Ngo Quyen Primary School, Ninh Kieu District) won 1 National Third Prize and 1 First Prize in the sponsorship selection round.
The 2024 International Robothon Competition is scheduled to be held on November 24 in Thailand, with the participation of students from 6 countries including Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, India and Vietnam.
The theme of the Robothon 2024 Competition is “Digital Nexus” - Industrial Revolution 5.0, aiming towards the near future, the emergence of Industry 5.0 will open up a completely new world, where humans and robots not only accompany each other but also cooperate strongly and creatively.
For the international round, contestants have 5 tasks including: data collection, Blockchain security, quantum machine learning, quantum encryption, artificial intelligence simulation.
Previously, at the 2023 International Robothon competition, 6 participating teams from Can Tho City all won awards, especially 1 team that excellently won the Championship.
Robothon is an annual STEM Robotics competition for students in the Asia region organized by Eduspec Holdings Berhad (Malaysia) for the past 18 years at the city, national and international levels. The objective of the competition is to help students explore real-world problems today, with innovative solutions based on integrated knowledge and skills in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
